If your organization uses Compiere for ERP and CRM, get ready for some changes. The open-source provider is announcing some major upgrades to its offerings.
It plans to showcase what leaders are calling the “largest expansion” of their Open Source ERP technology in its decade of providing the technology that’s targeted at mid-to-small-size enterprises in distribution, retail, service and manufacturing.
Touted as the world’s most widely used ERP and CRM open source automation solution, this new Compiere release was developed after working with customers to build open source applications aimed at driving down the costs and complexities of ERP.
Last year, Compiere moved from being only an open source project to becoming a commercial open source company by expanding services, rolling out a new Web architecture and UI and securing global customers. The upcoming new release will include more than 400 new business analysis, functional and technical enhancements.
Compiere’s touting as most significant a new Business View Layer, which lets customers analyze business data easily and securely using their choice of third-party reporting and analysis tools.
