The Black’s Law Dictionary app provides definitions of legal terms and phrases along with embedded audio of the same information. These definitions are taken from the 8th edition of the Black’s Law Dictionary.

The application doesn’t need an Internet connection, which means the information’s stored on the phone, not accessed through the Web.  That could wind up being a big memory hog for those who’ve purchased the smaller-capacity model of the phone.

Oh well, maybe it’s time for an upgrade. Darn.

Cost for the app, available at the iTunes store: $49.99. That’s less than the hardbound copy will cost, at nearly twice the price of the pocket version — which doesn’t include pockets the size you’ll need to tote it with you.
